Itinerary

Day 01 Arrival in Cusco acclimatization

Arrival at Cusco airport (3,400 meters above sea level) and transfer to the hotel in the historic center. The day is free to rest, drink coca tea and explore the Plaza de Armas and local markets at your own pace. We recommend hydrating well and eating lightly to adapt to the altitude.

Day 02 Sacred Valley → Hot waters

Early departure to the Sacred Valley. First stop in the taray Viewpoint for panoramic views, followed by the archaeological site of Písac and its artisan market. Buffet lunch in Urubamba and visit to the imposing ollantaytambo Fortress. In the afternoon, we boarded the train to Hot Waters.

Day 03 Machu Picchu → Cusco

Bus ride to the citadel of Machu Picchu (2,400 m asl). 2-hour guided tour of the Temple of the Sun, terraces and main squares. Free time for photos and optional visit to Puerta del Sol or the Inca Bridge. Lunch in Aguas Calientes and return by train to Ollantaytambo, then by bus to Cusco. Difficulty: moderate | Distance: 18 km

Day 04 Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain

Departure from Cusco at 04:00 am. Traditional breakfast in Cusipata and 1.5 hour walk to the summit of Vinicunca at 5,200 meters above sea level, with panoramic views of the Andes and landscapes of unique mineral colors. Descent and buffet lunch in Cusipata before returning to Cusco. Difficulty: demanding | Distance: 12 km | Max. height: 5,200 m asl.

Day 05 Transfer to the airport

Breakfast at the hotel and free time to visit the San Blas neighborhood or buy souvenirs. Transfer to Cusco airport at the coordinated time. Difficulty: easy | Distance: 6 km
