Itinerary

Day 01 Arrival in Cusco and City Tour

Upon arriving in Cusco (3,399 meters above sea level), we will settle into the hotel and have time to acclimatize. In the afternoon we will start the City Tour visiting the Qorikancha and the Cusco Cathedral, two monuments that fuse Inca greatness with colonial architecture. We will continue towards the ruins of Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Pukapukara and Tambomachay, where we will admire the precision of Inca engineering. We ended the day in the historic center enjoying the local atmosphere.

Day 02 Sacred Valley → Hot waters

We left early for him taray Viewpoint for a first panoramic view of the Sacred Valley. We continue to Pisac, famous for its agricultural terraces and vibrant craft market. In Urubamba we will enjoy a buffet lunch before visiting the imposing ollantaytambo Fortress, masterful example of Inca architecture and ingenuity. As evening falls, we will board the train towards Hot Waters, where we will settle into the hotel and rest for the next big day.

Day 03 Machu Picchu → Cusco

After breakfast, we will take the bus to the citadel of Machu Picchu (2,400 m asl), one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. Our guide will take us on a 2-hour tour of it Temple of the Sun, the agricultural terraces, the sacred precincts and the main squares. We will have free time for photographs and contemplation. Then we will return to Aguas Calientes for lunch, with the option of visiting the hot springs, before taking the train back to Ollantaytambo and continuing by bus to Cusco, arriving at approximately 9:00 p.m.

Day 04 Mountain of 7 Colors (Vinicunca)

We left very early from Cusco towards the southern Andes. We had breakfast in Chirihuani and began the walk of approximately 1 hour 30 minutes to the viewpoint of Vinicunca at 5,200 meters above sea level. Along the way we will appreciate herds of llamas, snow-capped mountains and the impressive Red Valley. At the top we will marvel at the stripes of mineral colors that make this mountain unique and at the panoramic views of the Andean mountain range. We descend and enjoy a buffet lunch in Cusipata before returning to Cusco.

Day 05 Humantay Lagoon

At dawn we left for Mollepata, where a local family will welcome us with breakfast. We continue until Soraypampa (3,900 meters above sea level) and from there we began a walk of 1 hour 30 minutes until the Humantay Lagoon at 4,250 meters above sea level. Its turquoise waters, framed by the snow-capped Salkantay, form one of the most impressive landscapes of the Peruvian Andes. We will have time to meditate, photograph and absorb the energy of the place before descending to Mollepata for lunch and returning to Cusco at sunset.

Day 06 Transfer to Cusco Airport

We enjoy breakfast at the hotel and have free time to explore the neighborhood Saint Blaise, visit local cafes or pick up the latest souvenirs. At the coordinated time, our team will transfer to the cusco Airport with full check-in assistance.
