Live the experience of visiting Machu Picchu in a single day with our Full Day Tour from Cusco. You will tour the Sacred Valley of the Incas, cross the Urubamba River by train and explore one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World together with a certified professional guide.

In the citadel you will discover the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana and the Sacred Square, surrounded by mountains and cloud forest at 2,430 meters above sea level.

Itinerary

Day 01 Cusco → Ollantaytambo → Machu Picchu → Cusco

The tour starts at 03:45 am. with pick-up from hotels in the historic center of Cusco. We will travel approximately 1 hour 45 minutes (70 km) until Ollantaytambo, in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, where we will board the train to Hot Waters. During the journey you will enjoy impressive Andean landscapes, the Urubamba River and the gradual change of landscape towards the cloud forest.

Upon arriving in Aguas Calientes, we will take the tourist bus that ascends to the citadel of Machu Picchu (2,430 m asl). Our certified guide will take you through the most emblematic sectors of the archaeological site: the Main Plaza, the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana and the Sacred Plaza.

After the visit, we will return to Aguas Calientes with free time to explore its craft market and jewelry stores before boarding the return train. The trip continues by tourist transportation to Cusco, with approximate arrival at 10:45 p.m.
