Itinerary

Day 01 Itinerary – Humantay Lagoon Tour (1 day)

We start with pick-up at your hotel at Cusco between 04:00 and 05:00 am. We travel by tourist transport to Mollepata (2.5 h), where we enjoyed an Andean breakfast. Then we continue until Soraypampa (3,900 m) after 1.5 hours of travel, with views of the majestic Snowy Salkantay.

From Soraypampa the walk begins towards the Humantay Lagoon (4,200 m). The trekking is 2 km uphill (1.5–2 hours), surrounded by snow-capped mountains and Andean landscapes. Upon arrival, you will enjoy the famous turquoise lagoon, considered a natural jewel and sacred place in the Andean worldview.

After the guided tour, we descend to Soraypampa and return to Mollepata for a traditional lunch. Finally, we returned to Cusco, arriving at approximately 6:30 p.m.
